Credit Card Scams

Flying back for the holidays is hectic enough without having to worry about credit card or identity theft. Two days back at work, I received a phone call from Bank of America. After $2,000 dollars of attempted charges that could not be verified by phone, the fraud department put my account on hold. The card was physically swiped at these locations and I sat there, thousands of miles away with my credit card in my hand.

Identity Nightmares

Everyone has gotten the random e-mail that promises great reward if you cash a check for a foreign national, or huge returns if you just give them your bank information. While most of us simply delete these e-mails, there are those who are unaware and lose everything.
